Course Details

Ever dreamed of learning to sail at an accelerated pace so that your next time out could be chartering a yacht as captain?

Students who complete this course often have some time on the water, but have no qualifications. The only prerequisite for completing the Fast-track Bareboat Cruising is that you study the course material before you arrive so that more time can be focused on the practical side of things.

This course is by far our most popular course as it quickly progresses novices and gives you experience of all aspects of sailing whilst sailing around the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

You start your course at one of the marinas in the Chesapeake Bay. We intend to navigate around the whole of the Chesapeake Bay during the summer, and so your start point will depend on the date of your course. On the Saturday morning you return to base for the final debrief, graduation and your final goodbyes with, hopefully, your captain badge!
