Course Details

Ever dreamed of learning to sail at an accelerated pace so that your next time out could be chartering a yacht as captain?

Students who complete this course often already have some time on the water, but have no qualifications. The only prerequisite for completing your sailing course is that you study the course material before you arrive so that more time can be focused on the practical side of things.

Our most popular fast track course is great as it quickly progresses novices and gives you experience of all aspects of sailing whilst sailing around the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

On Sunday morning your instructor for the week will meet you onboard and, after a safety brief about sailing catamarans, you will set sail, heading off to different inlets, stopping off each night in various anchorages whilst all the time learning and practicing new sailing techniques. On the Saturday morning you return to base for the final debrief, graduation and your final goodbyes with, hopefully, your captain badge!

Covid-19 safe-guarding measures whilst onboard

Safety is our #1 priority for all of our students and the Covid-19 pandemic creates a new challenge onboard boats. The CDC's recommendations are changing continually, and we are trying to keep up to date with the best advice. We will confirm the complete set of measures we will be taking nearer the time; it could mean we will require a test completed before coming aboard along with daily temperature checks. One thing for sure is that your safety is our first priority.
